Hey guys, I am new to the forum stuff. I need some help, My wife and I bought a 2020 Kia telluride and it had 110k on the mileage when we got it. 4 or 5 months ago we realized that it was using oil. when I realized it was using it we was about 500 miles till the 5000 oil change was due. I put 4 1/2 quarts of oil in it. Took it to the dealership and the service man said “I don’t think you’re reading the dipstick right” . To say I was mad is an understatement. I showed him the empty quart jugs and they kept giving us the run around. They ended up finding out the rings on the pistons are shot. My question is has anyone had that problem and what did you do? I know it’s gonna need a motor. I just don’t know where y’all have found them and how much? Thanks for the help
