• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So tonight my little cousin got sick in the backseat. He vomited on the seat. I am not familiar with this type of seat but it will NOT come out. Any advice? I feel like a new seat may be needed. Any idea how much it will cost? It’s the passenger side so doesn’t include the middle seat.

That's a total loss I would get your insurance involved.

I’m not sure they will cover vomit, right??? But I agree. I told his mom she needed to take over payments because it will NEVER come out. Ugh.

What model/interior color?

looks like the vomit is trapped in each of those holes. Perhaps an upholstery shop would know best way to clean it. Maybe after it is good and dry poke each hole with something like a paper clip and suck it out with a vacuum.

Might be worth a shot at getting it steam cleaned. Not very pricey and may work
Steam cleaner won’t mess up the “leather” or vinyl what ever it is? I figured it would make it worse than it is. But if y’all think it’s fine I will try it. It’s not that I’m against paying someone, I’m just scared they’ll mess it up and make it worse. Lol.

That’s a good idea. Thanks.

I have a good friend who has a steam company. I just asked him and waiting for his response. He advertises all the time that it’s no water and doesn’t damage. I’m no professional at the steam business so I will let you know what he says

Thank you.
He asked if it was cloth or leather.. told him leather.. he said that’s “easy peasy”.. so you can look into steam cleaning in your area. If your in Dallas area I can refer him to you. Otherwise just look local

Ok...Seriously look up the product called "My Pet Peed." It's been a game changer in my house. Not just for pet stain but vomit, blood, etc - human and animal. It works like an oxygen bomb and lifts stain out. Might be worth a bottle to try. You can get it on Amazon or his website.

My dog did this to the front passenger seat in my old Genesis. After a full surface wipedown and letting it all dry, I spent over 1 hour with a double ended "pointy" toothpick pushing all the vomit out of the holes. After it was done, you could still notice a small difference in coloring, but after 2-3 months, you'd never know it happened.
