  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just test drove the Telluride and was impressed.
I have a few questions.

1.) Block heater, I can not find the accessory anywhere. Is it standard, aftermarket, dealer install?
2.) The spare tire, according to some reviews it is a full tire, others say it is a "compact spare". Anyone actually looked?
3.) HUD on the SX, I have read somewhere it has everything, nav, speed, limit, blind spot and lane assist. Is that true?
4.) Can the cargo cover fit into the below storage area. It looks like it can.
5.) The heated steering wheel, whole wheel or just 10 and 2.
6.) Uvo. What is the yearly cost for what? Xm radio?
7.) According to this post, https://tellurideforum.org/threads/certificate.281/#post-2702, you can get a certificate? How?

Thanks for you time, wow that is a lot of questions.

Sorry.
Gwyn.

Welcome aboard, Gwyn! And thank you for signing up. I'm on the road today so I'm going to bump this message and hopefully get some comments from our members today...

What might the Telluride be replacing for you?

Gwyn,

I will try to answer a few of your questions:

1. I am not sure about this one.
2. The spare tire on my SX is in fact a compact spare tire, its not a full size tire.
3. The HUD display'e everything you mentioned. The only other HUD I have seen that comes close is the new Acura HUD on the RDX
4. I know the cargo matt fits into the storage and I believe the cover does as well but not 100% on this one.
5. My heated steering wheel feels warm all the way around. I know this was something I was concerned about coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee and when I test drove the Sorrento it was just warm at 10 & 2 as you mentioned.
6. When I purchased my SX they did not have UVO pricing. I called and asked XM about pricing and was quoted $119 for a year with live traffic and weather in that price. Keep in mind these prices change constantly but that is a rough idea.
7. I responded about the certificate and I am unaware of any certificate other than the Founders Forum, which required you to sign up by 1 March. Those of us who signed up got an incentive of getting our first month payment made if we financed through Kia Motor Finance or 2 years of XM if you financed through another lender.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum!

Thank you guys for your time. Coming from a Honda Pilot. I still have not figured out the first question. It looks like kias have a dry fit block heater.
