Hi - synthetic oil better for 2021 Telluride ?

Just wondering is it better to use synthetic oil for my 2021 Telluride and also what brand of oil is best for the Telluride 2021 ?

Synthetic oil is always the better option. Though there are many synthetic options, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum appears to be at the price/performance sweet spot.

I just had 22500 dealer service with an oil change on my 2020 and I asked what they use and was told semi synthetic. I was told full synthetic is standard for 2021.

I mostly run Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum, and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in my cars depending on which has the best rebates available.

The manual calls for synthetics with specific certifications. @whatthewhat mentioned some brands of fully synthetic that meet specification. There are others. I always use Mobil 1 and have used it in my cars for well over 25 years.
