  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Looks like the hubs and I are going to put a deposit down on a Telluride today. We have the list of incoming 2021's from one local dealership and just waiting hear back from the other. Very excited considering I've had my Pilot for over 10 years! I'm quite overdue for a new car!

Welcome! Great! Be sure to negotiate price and sales contract up front so that there are no surprises at delivery. Negotiate all markups and dealer adds too. And request that your deposit be refundable if vehicle not delivered. Never know what's going to happen with ETAs. But, at least they are incoming units.

I have been reading a bit on the forum that people are actually able to get these things at MSRP. Is that realistic for me or should I just be happy to get my hands on one?

It is possible to get one at MSRP, but you might have to search many dealerships before finding one that will do that. Are you in Idaho? Which dealerships have you looked at? If you can’t find one at MSRP then you just have to decide how much over you’re ok with, many different forum members have paid various amounts over MSRP.
If you decide to pay over MSRP (I am paying $2000 over here in Washington) I suggest you make your mind up early that it’s worth it to you. Lots of members also paying below MSRP through the Costco program, so if you pay more than them for the same car you’ll just need to be ok with that and move on.

What part of ID? I'm in North ID and haven't had luck with dealers taking a deposit. Wonder if I need to travel south.

We are Costco members. Maybe I need to look into this. Don't know anything about it.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What might the Telluride be replacing for you? I'm glad you found us! :)

Hey Rob, I'm in Meridian. I just put my deposit on a Moss SX Nightfall. So excited! Here is a list of what Dennis Dillon has coming. I know the two white SX are pre-sold as is my SX Moss Nightfall at the bottom. There may be others taken from this list, but most should be available. I got this yesterday. Contact Todd Meyer, tmeyers@dennisdillon.com. He's the internet mgr and a wonderful guy. Melanie1594432228217_Capture.webp

LOL thank you so much. After I saw your post, I searched on Failcat and ended up contacting Todd. I reserved one of the white SX/P. I'll be flying down to Boise when it gets in but I'm so excited to finally find what I wanted. Thanks for the follow up. Hope to see some pics of your nightfall when you get it. Enjoy the weekend.
