• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2020 Kia Telluride and my high beams stopped working completely. When I try to turn them on it shows on my dashboard but they don't actually turn on. I brought it to get new brakes and asked them to look at it and they said my "shutters" are stuck and that I'm looking at $1,400 per light to get fixed. Trying to see if anyone else has had this problem and what they did.

It’s a well-known problem with the OEM halogen headlight units.

Kia released a letter that significantly extended the warranty on these, make sure your dealer is aware.

Yes they say there is no remedy to fix them they wanted to charge for the diagnostic to see what is wrong. I got a letter saying it was a recall but to dealer here in Orlando do not want to fix them at no charge

You're not alone in experiencing high beam issues with your 2020 Kia Telluride. Many other owners have reported similar problems. Unfortunately, your dealership's diagnosis of "stuck shutters" and the hefty $1,400 per light estimate seem excessive.
