• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 21 SXP and I have done the purple Home Screen update. Yuck it’s worthless.

When I hit the media button the screen goes totally black. My podcast kept playing and the nav was still working but the screen was blank. I can get back to the podcast screen using Siri. What’s up? Am I missing an update?

Doesn’t sound like normal behavior. Does the black screen happen regardless if your phone is paired using bluetooth or using Carplay or not connected at all?

Could try installing the latest update and see if it fixes your problem otherwise.

I have the same thing happen to me. I unplug my phone, re-plug it in, and then the screen shows me CarPlay (assuming you are using an iPhone). This may be a "feature" of the latest update. ;)
