• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The dealer markups have held me up long enough for the competition to produce some enticing options. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L looks to be an impressive vehicle, scheduled to arrive in showrooms in the Q2 of 2021. I might wait to give it a look, test drive and compare. Still think the Telluride is great, but not paying crazy markups.

We just sold our JGC. My advice is to stay away. It seemed ours had stuff popping up all the time. The “L” may be good, but we won’t be buying another JGC.

Well this model is completely new and jury is still out on how it will hold up. Personally, I have 3 Jeeps in the family (2 new Cherokee's w/over 70k) and have had no issues....on the other hand, my Telluride is fighting body control modules and I'm left without cruise control or electronic parking braking with only 9k on the odometer.

I do like that the mechanicals are similar to the Telluride with the proven V6 and 8 speed tranny

Agree that the JGC had some known issues but also think they will address those in the new models.

And there it is

I was researching this vehicle last night. Some of the regulars on here have said that the Telluride should and will force other players in the segment to step up and provide a better product.

This looks like a very nice vehicle spec and picture wise.

Really cool looking car. Has a V8 Engine option for those who are always looking for more power. Interior looks really neat. Let's wait and see the full specs list.

I was pretty intrigued by it as well, but IMHO I have to think pricing is gonna be pretty high on it, my guess would be mid 50s? for all the bells and whistles

Fully loaded Telluride clocks in at 50k. Mid 50s with a V8 and that beautiful interior would do well if Jeep doesn't have QC issues.

And here comes the competition! Kia better figure out how to increase production to 200,000 tellurides a year real quick cause this party is coming to an end sometime soon. Jeep sold a million cars in 2019, they definitely know how to scale up

The 2022 Acura MDX looks really nice too, priced in the mid 50s just like most Telluride SX’s after dealer markup, will keep em honest...

We knew this day was coming - Kia will have to keep stepping it up now!

The current (regular length) Grand Cherokee can easily hit $60-65K for the Summit model. I had a 2014 Summit that stickered for $55K at the time. There is no way a top-trim GC L will be less than $65K. Whether that’s what they actually sell for is another story.

Will there be one for mid-$50s? Probably. But it will be missing a lot of the nice things.
