• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Installed the hood deflector for a 4 month road trip.
Removed it once home.
Want to attach it once again but lost the instructions
and can't figure out the position of the end clips.

No instructions online or at the dealer.

Any suggestions?

Threw mine away too but if you followed the original instruction you should have installed a thick piece of film along the lip of the hood to protect it from clip damage. This is where the clips are suppose to go.

If I remember correctly there are 5 clips. Two clips are held in place with a screw. The three others (center, far left and far right) are only held by clips. All clips should be on the protective tape.

If you don’t have the tape installed you will damage the paint and hood. Did you remove this protective tape?

Just installed on my 24 x-pro. Easy job. Most important is to mark the 7 deflector holes as accurately as possible to prevent having to adjust the clips later to get the screws to start. I was not aware how important this is and had to readjust clips to line up with holes later. A bit of a pain.
