So, I am about to order my Telly! From what I understand, certain color combinations are more readily produced than others. Ideally, I want either a White Pearl/Dune SXP or a Moss/Dune SXP. My dealer is telling me that the Dune interior adds time to the production turn around time. Can anyone confirm this? If so, are we talking months or weeks??

TIA

Regardless of color choice, order from a high volume dealer that sells at or below MSRP for the fastest turn around time. You're still going to be waiting up to 6 months for your ride though. Some SXPs have been delivered short of 4 months, but most are in it for the long haul.

Best of luck.

I finally pulled this computer thing to look at the production stats spreadsheet! I haven’t use a pc in ages, so I am surprised I even remember how to use it!

Only one dealer in WA, Lee Johnson Kia, is not marking up...

I have a Pre-owned certified SX-P Moss/dune with around 7,000 miles if your interested.

Oh man! If only it wasn’t in Minnesota! What‘s the story?

Mine is a "high volume" dealer and I am expecting my vehicle in approximately 2 .5 months from order. SXP. Snow White Pearl, grey nappa. If you can go thru the spreadsheet and find the best looking dealer getting the SXP's anywhere within an acceptable distance for you...order with them. Or place multiple orders and see who comes thru. As long as deposits are refundable. I went to my usual dealer before I knew anything about this STUPID Kia process at all, and I just got lucky. But I would have switched if it was necessary!

I am pretty sure those are the two most popular color combos for the SXP, so I wouldn’t worry about it. An example of colors that are kind of rare would be Black Copper for the exterior, and Espresso Brown for interior.

Color combo use to be important now it doesn’t matter.. it’s all about allocation how many orders are in-front of you and dealer using KFOS system
