  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

How long from VIN assignment to delivery?

Is there any consensus on how long it's taking from the time a VIN is assigned until delivery?

How long was your wait once the order got picked up by Kia?

Nope - too many variables. The biggest is delivery time. Is it just truck, or rail then truck, or rail then ship then truck? Really depends on where your dealer is.
 
I'm in DFW, fwiw. Don't they ship from GA?

I've seen some saying at times certain models (EX/SX) may ship sooner. Just was curious about when people on here got VINs how much longer it took to receive...

Average is about a month.

My Telluride S AWD received her VIN on 7/6 and arrived at the dealership on 9/13. My VIN was assigned within 24 hours of being entered into KFOS, which was crazy fast. Of course I don't know if the body sat around the factory for a few weeks before any work was done. Two months seemed like a lifetime but when I pick up the vehicle tonight it will be worth it.
