• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... From what I read on indigo.com the 2022 will have no changes of significance if any and a $1500 markup.

If so I very likely will cancel my SX-P. That brings it into Aviator territory, and that is a fight Telluride might not win.
I just read that article too and would love to know how that author knows it will go up $1,500 dollars on each trim level. I’d be pissed if it’s true, ngl. Especially considering my order request receipt on kdealer already shows an MSRP.

Edmund said they expect nothing will change. So pick your source...lol

From carsdirect.com:

”Pricing is also not available. However, with no significant changes expected, we anticipate the 2022 Kia Telluride’s MSRP to remain close to the current model’s $33,160 to $45,260 (destination fees included) price range”

Buy yours now I say. With metal prices having doubled you think MSRP is not going to go crazy for 2022?

We are getting ready to be hit with crazy inflation. Which means Int rates will go up.

Perhaps but banks just lowered their auto loan rates. Received emails from both Penfed and DCU the last couple weeks letting me know they had lowered their auto rates. DCU in particular is currently 1.49 up to 65 months. Will be financing with Kia for the immediate rebate and then flipping the loan to DCU before first payment is made for the best rate.

Another thing to consider is resale value of MY 22 will always be somewhat higher than MY 21. Whether it's 3, 5, or 10 years down the road, people selling a '22 will get more back.

I'm trading in a '17 BMW X1 when my Telluride is ready (6-8 months). I happened to buy one of the first ones that rolled off the line, in Sept. 2016, when most of dealer stock was '16 model year. Price difference on my trade-in today is over 2k, at no additional cost to me (their pricing didn't change).

Same plan here, but just newly learned that refinance rates are different and slightly higher. Going to monitor, especially after reading that thread about Kia Motors Financing nightmares.

DCU rate is the same for purchase or refi. Down side is you have to direct deposit your paycheck with them to qualify for the best rate

You have to be careful with this. To get it financed as a new car you will want to have this all set up in advance. I've never heard new & used cars financed at same rate. All this sounds a little too good to be true.

Yep too good to be true

The key is the words As Low As... nothin’ keeping them from charging you 12% instead...
Of course the rate could go higher based on credit score. Sorry figured that simple concept was understood by everyone. All lender advertise their best rate which requires top credit. Will be more careful in the future to add a disclaimer that states nothin' keeping them from charging you 12% with $h*t credit score.

DCU has the same rate for purchase or refi. The 1.49% rate is up to 65 months as long as you direct deposit your paycheck. Please let me know what is wrong about my statements.
