• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... All the cables at the front of the center console drive me nuts, and stock USB ports are slow at charging. So I changing the 1x USBA center console port to 2x USBC ports. After hours of research it was actually incredibly easy, cheap, and successful so I wanted to share.

1. Remove the stock USB holding the lid and yanking straight up
2. Tap the red and black wires with red T-Taps (you must provide)
3. Epoxy the retaining ring from the new USBC charger to the top of the hole. (Do not use super glue, that is what caused the white crap you see in my photos, plus it didn't hold. Use Loctite Plastic for $7 at HD. Wear gloves, only use a tiny bit.)
4. Connect wires, screw it in.

$17 for the dual USB-C Power Delivery charger. And it awesome-ly includes a screen showing the Wattage speeds you are getting during charging and the Voltage to the charger when not charging. https://a.co/d/iX5hyNK (Appears to be exact same: https://a.co/d/3kBXgKi)

I tested 3 other chargers and they either weren't real Power Delivery or required unplugging and replugging each power cycle, which ain't happening.

This charger is definitely PD. Our phones charge to 50% in 30 minutes.

I use these cables, for the tiny subtle green light at the end and MFi certification. https://a.co/d/aq9Ym4q
