How to spot a dealer who marks up!

After searching many dealers in many different states, if the dealer doesn’t show price or window sticker and it says call for pricing, 99% of the time they are marking up it up above MSRP. The first example was marking up $6800 and the second was MSRP.

While it is certainly a good indicator when they show prices on their website, the only way to be sure is to call.

Even then, the only way to be absolutely sure is to have a purchase contract printed out. This is the only time the dealer can’t flip flop on pricing anymore.

The only true way is to get a quote. Some dealers just say they sell above MSRP but some say that they sell at MSRP and tack on the extra as packages like tint, paint and protection. Even going so far as to say that those extra packages are mandatory. Just get a quote or ask if they sell at MSRP with no dealer add ons.
