  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... How to tell what delivery time SHOULD be (from our small town dealer)...?

We've had an 'order' in place at Sunbury Kia in Pennsylvania since February of 2022.

We were told in may be until February 2023 to get it (after updating our 'order' to the 2023 model, when able).

Is there any way to know if this is accurate information, or how long we should really be waiting?

The only update was provided when I called. They did not reach out.

You picked a dealer that has gotten very few Telly's in relation to other dealers. You could have a really long wait depending on where you are in their queue. You might want to find a larger dealer.

go to failcat.com and lookup your dealer and then look at how many they they on avg. Its not perfect, but it might give you a sense on how many they do get.

It looks like Sunbury (PA040 on failcat.com) only averages just over 3 Tellurides per month. Depending on how many orders are in front of you for your specific trim, you could be in for a looong wait. For example, they have received approximately 11 EX AWDs over the last 12 months. If there are 15 orders in front of you, you are likely waiting over a year. If there are only 2 you could be pleasantly surprised. We just cancelled an 11/18/21 order with a low-volume small town dealer because they would not tell us how deep we were in their pile of orders. Hopefully Sunbury will answer this key question for you!

Kia should establish a customer bill of rights that requires all its dealers to provide this information to all customers, with monthly updates.

The corporate disdain displayed toward people who will be expected to shell out $50k or more, yet are handled according to the infamous "mushroom management" theory, is shocking at times.

I just spoke with our salesperson. We are #8 out of 11 to get an EX from this dealer. He's guessing we'll get our (2023) vehicle in February. My math says April.

Now its a wait to update our order 2023...
