• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... A few weeks ago we looked at a used Telluride at a local dealer and decided to get one (a new one-pricing on used ones is more than new!). They have a SX, Wolf Grey and Butterscotch, coming in mid-April, with no tow package. I wanted the rain sensing wipers of the Prestige package-my current Grand Cherokee has them and I like them a lot. But heck figured we'd to without and just add a receiver hitch and live without self leveling. Well, a couple days ago the dealer called and says he has a SX/Prestige/Tow in Wolf Grey/Dune coming about 3 weeks later. Cool, we switched our order to that, really looking forward to it.

Now, considering the Prestige package, the only thing I really wanted was the rain sensing wipers. Only carry passengers a couple times a year so heated/cooled back seats don't mean much. Nappa leather-is it really nicer than the "standard" leather? Guess we'll find out. My real question-the heads up display. I like cool technology as much as anyone, but really wonder about this. Actually useful or just a gimmick that you turn off after playing with it for a few days? I would think the turn-by-turn nav would be nice on the HUD and the blind spot warnings, but given the blind spot cameras is it really used? Just curious as to anyone's input. And frankly-just excited about the new rig!

If anyone is looking, the dealer (Rusty Wallace Kia, Alcoa TN) not only has the SX WG Butterscotch we were planning on, but also have a Gravity Grey SXP coming in early June.

After using the HUD in mine I can say I will never own a car without it. Whenever I have to drive my wife's car I'm always looking for the HUD to see my speed and other info and of course it's not there. It's a must for me.
