• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi there. Was wondering if the Telluride has a manual button/screen selection to manually turn on/off HVAC Cabin Recirculation ?
I have a $93,000 2020 BMW that does it automatically whenever the computer thinks it should happen, and I hate it.
Hoping you can manually select this on the Telluride so I dont have to smell stinky things in front of me through the vents.

It does it automatically when the climate control is set to auto, but you can also override it with a button.

just picked up a 2024 xpro and it did the same at first. Would open vents after a while of driving. I was able to disable that ‘feature’ in the settings somewhere. Can’t remember exactly where but definitely in the vehicle settings

Many people have reported that their air conditioning only works when the rear controls are set to auto, and the front vents blow warm air when the rear is set to off.

This could be due to a complex climate control system where the rear controls interact with the front system, a faulty sensor or actuator providing incorrect information, or even a low refrigerant level.
