• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I sent email this morning to Kia consumer assistance center about no recovery points/hooks ect . Heres a copy of my email to them .

I believe all they would need to do to address this situation is with another recall letter like they did for the windshield .
For those that it mattered to they would need to set up an appointment and it would be done and over with and the others that didn't care it would be no issue at all.

Maybe 2020Telly could do a rough draft to make it more consumer friendly and bring the point across better since my letter apparently doesn't do that. 😁

Maybe with multiple people addressing this with them there will be better movement.
I will not give upon this until they address this issue with a response of some sort which I have not received yet .
I do understand that it is the holiday season so no rush plus ,it's not like I can go to the snow right now with my foot 🙄
I do miss the snow .
I mean on a side note my buddy is a Union welder and he is more than willing to fabricate something but as I'm sure the rest of us would be are concerned with the effect in our warranty or concerned with it causing a legal situation if something happens during a recovery and would not be covered and it be on us .

On a side note this forum is great and reminds me of the other 2 that I am on with the other members where there is great conversation , idea's and bouncing ideas off of each other.
Communication and Unity is important in a community . 👍

Trying to understand why some Kias have a recovery point or an eyelet and the US Telluride doesn’t but the Middle East one does and it dawned on me, maybe they use it to hold the vehicle in place when shipping overseas? The infamous Golden Ray likely had a bunch of Tellurides and they had to be held in place somehow. Maybe post shipping they double as a recovery point which is why they are on the Palisade? The US Telluride never goes on a cargo ship.

I’m really curious if that user came up with something. I crawled under mine last night and couldn’t figure out an easy frame point to connect to. It is also interesting to me that if there are no eyelet nor recovery points in the form of a simple frame section with a hole, what secures it during transport? One theory on that other thread is what if the vibration that some Tellurides have is some how connected to improper strapping or towing during transport.

That's an interesting theory 🤔.
