• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Got a question for those who deal with the snow in cold conditions. I love Going Out and doing things outdoors with my vehicbeautiful. Love the snow. But I hate that there is no defroster due to the wipers being recessed under the hood. Anybody come up with a solution that actually works.

I have looked at electric heating wipers Those seem to be hit-or-miss. And I'm not gonna mess with that one

Thanks 🤙

Good luck, the wipers suck in winter and the washer fluid only spays 6 inches at highway speed. I have a 23 xline and it sucks at winter. It just got stuck in snow in Colorado Springs with top of the line snow tires. This car sucks!

I am going to say the driver sucks. Is it 2wd or AWD?

AWD, 10 inches of snow, I drive a mountain pass every day to get to work. My wife’s Tesla made it and the xline didn't.

Something is off, ours is great in the snow. Just went through every type imaginable this past weekend and performed flawlessly. All mainstream crossovers have similar awd systems, they all perform about the same with the tires being the variable. I’m sure the cybertruck has a much more advanced system than our Telluride’s. What brand tires?? I've put snow tires on my rear wheel BMWs and basically got everywhere I need in hilly western PA. NO problem running the Telluride in dedicated snows here

I just drove through some snow on highways in northern VT and had barely any issues with my 2020 FWD with all seasons. I emptied the windshield washer fluid before the trip and refilled with the lowest temp rated stuff I could find (I prefer Rain X purple) and carry a spray bottle of Prestone de-icer. After clearing out the snow from the windshield I spray the de-icer on the windshield and spray de-icer over the spray nozzles with defrost on full blast while I wipe and scrape the snow and ice off the other windows before hitting the highway. I have to imagine that with AWD and Snow tires the experience should be better on driving. Maybe the added height and width of tires off of OEM are working against the Xline AWD mode? Thinner might be better to cut through snow. At highway speeds you will be primarily in FWD and the AWD only kicks in if the system detects slippage. If you were in AWD all the time and high speeds I think it might be too dangerous to be driving. Despite the looks it's not a 4x4 all terrain vehicle, still just a mid-sized SUV.

Michelin X ice and snows
I assume you know if the rear drive isn’t engaging?… Sounds like your wife’s Tesla is really good in the snow and you got the wrong vehicle as your Michelins by all accounts are really good snow tires.
