2022 Kia Telluride
Hello everyone and thanks. My 10 year old grandson got into the driver's seat without me knowing and started pushing all of the dash buttons and steering wheel buttons
. The key fobs were not close so he couldn't start the Telluride, but he did push the start button several times.
It starts fine and I believe I have everything set back to what it was EXCEPT THE immobilizer symbol
is on and won't turn off. Google AI and other google searches say, "To address this, you can try relocking the car, turning the ignition on and off a few times, or using a different key if you have one. If the issue persists, it's best to contact a Kia dealer for assistance." I don't want to have to contact the dealer. I locked and unlocked it with the door handle button several times (As I'm writing, I'm thinking maybe I need to lock and unlock it with the FOB?
) and started it a few times. Immobilizer symbol still doesn't go off.
