• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I've had a faulty infotainment system since the day I received my 2022 Telluride. (my post about it here). I was told a month ago when this issue happened that they need to replace the entire audio unit headend, and that the part was backordered for 4-6 weeks. Fast forward, after a month with no update i finally got ahold of the dealer here and was told that the part order was canceled by Kia because they recalled the audio unit. Now a new one has been ordered with another 4-6 week wait.

I can't find ANY information online about this recall. Has anyone heard of this recall or can provide more information? I would imagine I'm not the only one with issues if Kia recalled it but there seems to be zero reports of this issue anywhere on the internet that I can find!

While the vehicle is physically drivable, I can't use the infotainment system, which is the only way to access certain features. Want to use bluetooth for music or a call? Well, UVO will try to phone home and that takes precedence. Want to turn on the rear climate controls? Out of luck, cant get to that screen before UVO calls home.

You should be getting a loaner for that time period seeing as major features aren't working. I'm also assuming the back up camera isn't working, which is federally mandated. This alone would be reason enough for a comparable loaner.

Thanks, backup camera is working, it seems to be the only thing that takes priority over the UVO call. It will show the backup camera and a little banner above saying transmitting data to uvo or whatever. I asked for a loaner or rental and was denied, and have been offered ZERO compensation from the dealer i purchased from (out of state, shipped here), the local dealer, or KIA directly - although I intend to try, I'm just so sick of that damn hold music for an hour every time I call KIA.

Seems that there are no open recalls or TSBs for this issue, cant help but think that the dealer is pulling my leg...
