• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is this fee a flat charge regardless of destination? Here in Atlanta, the charge is $1,095 on all the stickers I've seen. The few times I've seen it mentioned in posts elsewhere it is the same. Why wouldn't the freight charge be based on how close you are to the production facility? Considering Atlanta is 100 miles from West Point, I would think the charge should be next to nothing here.

My parents once told me life isn’t fair.

I Purchased a new Corvette at a dealership about 80 miles from Bowling Green where it was manufactured. The destinations charge was the same is if I had purchased it in California or New York. It was explained to me that they charge the same amount no matter where you buy it so one dealer does not have an advantage over another

No....its a flat fee. Can you imagine the calculation nightmares trying to have a different charge to each delivery area? If you really want to feel like you got something for nothing...move really far away from a port of entry...then gloat.
