• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Ready to order and can't decide between the grey nappa and black nappa. Concerned that the grey may be too light and hard to keep clean. Opinions?

The gray is beautiful. I know it will get dirty eventually, but I will deal with that when it comes. My two cents.

Plus one for grey nappa. Two kids, 1.5 years ownership, no regrets.

Grey - upscale, airy
Black - claustrophobic, rental car vibe

Grey nappa... lighten the mood... every now and again you may need to getit detailed... other than that dont sweat it..

I guess I'll be the dissenting voice. Black all the way. It will look better for years longer IMO. It looks absolutely fantastic. The interior cools down so fast that the darker color makes very little difference (and you can always pull up the shades in the back seats to keep the sun off too). The lighter headliner gives a nice airy feel combined with the black nappa interior too.

What exterior color?

Going to be everlasting silver which only comes in black or gravity grey.

Normally I’d default to a bright and airy interior color like “grey” which btw needs a better name since it’s not really grey (sat in one in person)

But interior and exterior colors pop the most when they contrast… I think white and silver are the only paint colors I’d recommend with a black interior

I failed to ask some important questions. How long do you expect to keep the car? Do you have kids? Pets? Do you plan to regularly maintain/detail your interior? All of these could be important considerations.

Car will be kept probably 10 years. Grown children. Interior will be cleaned maybe 3 times a year or if something spills.

OK ten years. I've had several black leather interiors that look great after many years with just a little care (conditioner). Black is always in style. The grey (really, off-white) looks fabulous also, but I would expect to need to put in more effort and take more care to keep it that way over a decade. How important that is to you, only you can decide.
