Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’ve done that and took it to Kia and they told me the act controls interior circulation. If you ask me I think it’s BS…maybe I need to go to a different Kia
I don’t have the link but there is a lengthy section in the manual on how the system will cycle between vent and recirculation automatically under certain conditions. There is also a way to disable that.
You can search the forum for details.
Recirculating running for 8 minutes makes sense to me if it is very hot out and you are trying to cool the car off. Recirculate until car is cool (more efficient, faster cooling), then switch it off so fresh air is used.
