• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... First time in the rain today. Raining not too hard, perfect for intermittent setting. No luck,. Wipers never activated no matter what frequency setting I selected. Had to keep manually wiping every so often or turn on low and then turn off. One note - when I was changing the frequency settings ( I think there are 5 levels), when I would get to level 3, the wipers would work "once". Then nothing unless I move off 3 onto 2 (or 4), then back to 3. Having the SX-P, I am wondering if the "rain sensing" overrides this setting, and the whole thing is messed up? Maybe a fuse? I cannot find any setting in the myriad of options!

Probably a faulty body control module. Contact your dealer and get it replaced - it is a safety issue - they should fix it ASAP assuming they have the part.

Thanks for the input. As it turns out I found this thread that appears will resolve my issue. I will be scheduling a service appointment soon.

Finally had time to take it in. Soon after was told that it was never hooked up...so much for that youtube quality control video....need to go back and find out which Friday mine was built?😬
