Is Butterscotch Available 2021?

I’ve been looking on failcat and only 10 butterscotch have been ordered in last month?! Vs 1500 black and over 200 espresso brown? What gives? Talking to dealer who I’m trying to order through, he sees black, gray, and espresso brown as interior leather options for SX in his KFOS but no butterscotch. Anyone know why?

At this moment you can only request/order SX in opt group 30(nightfall edition non prestige/non tow/non butterscotch) you will be able to order in butterscotch... just not yet... we are waiting for Kia to unlock all other options for ordering

What about the 2020's that are converted to 2021s?

Those are still good. But will be slim pickings.. keep in mind you have to be lucky enough to find one that someone backs out of.

In theory yes, but still waiting here! Lol I'm thinking supply chain issues with this color. Ordered last year, put in KFOS before April shutdown, still waiting for a VIN. Nuts

I called my local dealer a couple of weeks ago and told them that between the two local dealers that could get me the 2021 with SX Dark Moss and Butterscotch first, I would buy it. It just so happened that they said one was coming in August 16th and it wasn't spoken for. I drove up, put a refundable $250 deposit down and she said it is mine. If it comes in and I don't want it, I will just get my money back and they will sell to whomever is waiting.

You won't be cancelling that. The Butterscotch is just gorgeous. Obviously such items are a mater of individual taste - so not to besmirch anyone else' choices. But to my overly analytical engineering mind - I avoid black for heat reasons, as well as things color-contrast against black and it can be hard to keep looking clean and tidy. That, and I think it makes for a darker interior, and I like a brighter interior; for my own preference at least. And so the white/light grey options are also quite attractive. But from what others have been saying, keeping that clean and looking good is a lot of work.

I find the Butterscotch the most appealing color anyway, but then with those "performance" aspects of heat and cleanliness maintenance; it's definitely my own preference! Glad you were able to get it reserved - you are going to really love that color combination.

Looks like a few dozen have been produced in July, so maybe it's one of those. Glad they had an option for you. Did you negotiate price and details when you put the deposit down? Hopefully you'll have a good dealer experience to share in a month.

I didn't, but the dealer quoted me MSRP. I am sure I have to pay the destination fee and my local sales tax. It came with mud flaps and floor mats. I was going to see about having them put the tow hitch and harness on. I am pretty handy and can probably just do it myself though.

I just sat in a brand new white SX - Nightfall with butterscotch interior. Hated the butterscotch. Probably my least favorite interior color.

Different strokes for different folks...butterscotch was one of my favorites without actually seeing it in person and after taking delivery I think it’s even more luxurious than I first thought. But we all have different tastes, as said many times on this forum, to each their own.

We just took delivery of an SX (non P) Nightfall (with Tow) with Butterscotch. It photographs super light but looks closer to the Kia promotional pics.

My Butterscotch interior is quite beautiful and I'm enjoying it.
