• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... it;s not all the online magazines but too many reputable ones are calling the telluride korea's tahoe. that basically makes it an escalade. it's not nearly that size. i think this is bad publicity because the way people think as far as fuel effenciency is concerned, i think it'll make people look down on kia. i really wish they would get their act together. is it really even a "large" suv? should it even really be called more than a cuv? it's not a body on frame truck. the buick enclave is probably a good comparison on size. the bmw x5 will probably be a close competitor because i think the telluride will be more luxurious then the enclave. volvo xc90.

I find it annoying as well. I've replied at a few spots telling them it compares more closely to a BMW X5 than a Chevy Tahoe - but nobody ever replies. Here's a good example of the sizes. Now keep in mind that while the KIA Telluride looks a little larger than the X5 in this picture - it's because it's traveling in the middle lane - which is a little bit higher...

The writers in the auto industry and just as bad as many car salesman. They don't give a hoot about cars and just need to sell something to make a living. Half the auto industry writers think this is going to be a Lincoln Navi competitor.

it's probably just bigger news for kia to be launching an escalade sized suv rather than an enclave sized suv. kia having a true, body on frame, full size suv competitor would be much bigger news than kia coming with something a little bigger than the sorrento that everyone is already familiar with. it's just fake news and sensationalism for advertising dollars.

You think they are aware of the size difference but just want to get people reading the article?

Hey guys. I actually started doing research on the Telluride because I thought it was a fullsizer. So that's another angle you might want to put on all this. I'm not deadset on a full size suv so the Telluride might be perfect for me. I'm hoping the price is reasonable. I began my search looking at the Chevrolet Traverse. Then moved onto the Tahoe when in the showroom. Getting what I want in the Tahoe brings the price up more than I like for the quality I'm getting. Then you have that bellowing issue I've been reading about. So that crossed the Tahoe off my list. I haven't had good luck with Ford so they're not on my list. But here I am doing research on what may be my first Kia.
