Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Welcome! How is your search going? And since you drove both, how do the Telluride and Palisade compare?
The controls/shifter is more refined in the Pal. I'm not a fan of the huge grill. Both had about the same ride and performance - I purposely chose back streets (pot holes and RR tracks) to see how it would ride in town. I'm a prior owner of 2 Expeditions and F150 Lariat and the Telly and Pal did very well in comparison. I also test drove a CX-90 since my last post - it compared more closely with the Pal. Telly is more me since I intend to use her offroad.

Interesting about the controls and shifter, but it sounds like you made the right choice as the Telluride is the more rugged vehicle. I suspect the Mazda CX90 will be another popular option for many SUV buyers...
