Newbie question, can someone help me understand what the difference is between Kdealer and KFOS?

kdealer is the dealers internal ordering system where their orders are held, KFOS opens once a month, where KIA actually picks up the order from the dealer to begin production. From my understanding anyway.

Kdealer is the entire platform we use for everything related to Kia. Within that system, there are 2 types of ordering - 1) Dealer requests where you place a shotgun type of ordering “requesting” a multitude of possible ways to build out a vehicle. In this scenario, you simply HOPE YOU GET what you want from “available inventories either in port or in route to the states…Or 2) KFOS which is more a sniper approach in that once/month, you get a guaranteed number of units to build out EXACTLY how you want.
