• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I registered my key card and the car indicates it worked, based on messages that come up on the screen. However, the key card does nothing...it will not open the door, or start the car. I would appreciate suggestions!

It will only work (for starting) when laying flat on the phone charger pad. As for opening doors, you have to fiddle with it to get it to work.

No fiddling required. Just touch the card to the NFC sensor on the door handle (right in the middle).

Haven't tried it in a long time - but if I remember right, it had to do with which portion of the card you were touching.

I apologize if this sounds stupid - but the key card will not start the engine by itself. After laying it flat on the phone charger pad, you still have to push the engine-start button.

If that doesn't work, then I am out of suggestions - take it to the dealer.

No, I appreciate the clarification. That IS what I'm doing, but you wouldn't have a way to know that :--)

Welcome. This topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the Telluride Technology forum...
