• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When I activate the alarm (lock doors with key fob and all other doors are closed) I walk away and within 10 seconds the alarm comes on. What am I doing wrong?

I had this happen a few weeks ago. Turned out to be had all windows partially down. Had to disable the rear seat alarm to be able to do that.

How do you disable that? I’m sure I can find it but if you remember it’d be helpful.

It's in the Settings menu.
Select Vehicle, then Convience. Click on the Rear Passenger Seat box to disable the alarm.

I’m having the same problem. No dog. Have disabled the rear seat alarm. Windows and sun roof closed.
I lock the doors (either by key fob or by pushing the button on the handle), within 10 seconds, the alarm goes off.
One time I got frustrated, walked away without locking the car, returned and the car was locked.
What is going on?
