• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... “Kia outperformed the industry through the first three quarters of 2019 thanks to the continuing popularity of Telluride and the strong September performances of the Sorento, Sportage and Optima models,” said Bill Peffer, vice president, sales operations, Kia Motors America. “With Kia’s steady stream of new and refreshed models launching over the coming months, we’re confident the positive momentum and increased brand consideration will continue through the fourth quarter and into the new year.”

Does this include Genesis line as well? I'm curious to see how the new Genesis GV80 SUV brings those numbers up even more if so.
No, Genesis reports with Genesis USA. Even a separate company from Hyundai Motors America. It's confusing... they have a lot of linkages though! :)

Mainstream Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia followed the market downward in September after solid growth for most of the year, while luxury brand Genesis continued sharply higher sales on the introduction of a new model and the build out of its retail network.

Brands: Hyundai down 8.8%; Kia, down 13%; Genesis up 272%

Exactly! This is why I was wondering if they factor that in as a whole, but per brand makes more sense. Honestly, here in Chicago I've seen more Pally's on the road than Telly's... in fact I've only seen 1 other Telly since release. However, numbers are numbers and to be selling vehicles in this crazy market is a good thing. I feel like auto dealers are struggling nationally in terms of sales, but that's a personal observation.

The auto market overall is down - car sales are way down. The only market that is growing rapidly is the 3-row SUV/CUV market - up 9% YTD over prior year. Mazda has been a casualty of this with one of the smallest 3 row CUVs in its class - overall they are down significantly this year. Interestingly, Pilot and Explorer sales are way down - looks like folks have found better options.

I think we are poised for an economic downturn and vehicle purchases are a signal folks are holding tight, keeping vehicles longer. Other than, ironically, KIA/Hyundai....at this point sales are generally positive for them.

Ford can't even deliver new models, as they have clear defects leaving the factories.
