  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Maybe all car manufacturers do this now but not sure why my local KIA dealers are all charging $2500 to $5000 markups on 23 Tellurides, will not take orders, customers have to purchase whatever they have 'allocated' to them from KIA sight unseen.
while other KIA dealers in other states (I have called based on posts here) KIA dealers allow you to order anything and have zero dealer markups on the 23 Tellys?

whats the opinion here, is KIA dropping the ball by not keeping the dealerships in line or is it just supply vs demand and KIA can't regulate things like gouging.

This is opinion but up to some point, I think these dealers can charge what they want without recourse. Your action would be to take your business to the best deal. The supply has screwed this up of course but it still can be achieved with patience. Something there is very little of anymore.
