  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Financing - September 2020

This is what we did (navy fed pre approved). It was pretty painless. Unfortunately both the credit union and the dealer ran credit (I didn’t know the dealer was going to run one also). That being said we have pretty high credit and my credit only dropped two points after both of those pulls. Active here
Ah that isn’t bad figured it would be like ten points. I feel like navy doesn’t even run my credit they’re just like, oh you want another car? Here ya go! I am also active, Army.

Yes I am retired. A total of 42 years and 6 mos. Four years air force, rest federal government IT Specialist. As someone else said above, love the car and I got a great deal. Like others have said, my problem is Kia service has not caught up with the great suv they produced. I wanted to take my vehicle in for the oil change they scheduled me for when I purchased it in August. The appointment was for October. Thanks to the videos and comments here, I did the oil change myself with full synthectic. The only time consuming part was removing the 8 bolts from the skid plate. The oil cartridge instead of the spin on oil filter was not bad but the spin on is a lot better. Now I am not so sure where I will take it for the 7500 mile service. I will do the oil change and I will get the tires rotated at Sam's Club with the road hazard protection they offer. Had it on my 4Runner for 15 years and currently on my Mercedes E320 Bluetec. Enjoying the car. Good luck to you all.

Glad you're enjoying it. I get great service aty local Kia dealership - but yes, there is a lot of heterogeneity. I believe there are awards dealership service departments can get from Kia that reflect their quality (I saw some plaques on the wall) but I don't know enough about Kia's dealership awards to know. Bottom line, there are good dealers out there to use for service.

I agree there are good dealerships. I have a great service manager for my Mercedes that I have been using for 10 years. Finding a good mechanic that take pride in their workmanship can be a problem. For example, after getting my Mercedes serviced I noticed oil on the floor where I park. I took pictures and showed it to the service manager and told him to please have his service technician clean up any spilled oil. I have not had that problem since. That was on the technician not the service manager or the dealership. I have had two 4Runners. The last one 15 years. After a problem with an oil change I started doing oil changes myself. Again the technician. So I can understand some of the posts here and why some say only take it to the dealer for warranty work. If you can find a good mechanic that is a blessing. I had one before I moved here. Now it is a crap shoot.

Does anyone know if the $500 financing rebate will come back in November?

Yep, one more reason to consider walking away from this. I feel like I need to take a shower rather than waiting any longer to get screwed once again waiting for a new Telluride! Been waiting while Kia has been playing games screwing over customers with paid deposits by ignoring their orders and instead jamming a $1295 add on down their throats in order to get one of their sacred cows. Been waiting for over 6 months, order canceled, reentered, sustaining model year price increases, a discontinuance of the original SWP, now they add on a point to the finance offer for a vehicle that they have yet to produce even one in this model year! Not 1, SX AWD P/T Dune Brown interior non NE has been produced! Very disappointing. Don't reply with its the hottest care out there BS. I have paid my depost and waited for them to deliver for over 6 months with no tentative delivery date even though I have been reassured that it has been accepted in KFOS.

Hey, I’ve been waiting almost a year and just got my vin# for a SXP AWD Dune Nappa in Black Copper. I’m suppose to get 11/10/20. I placed the order 11/15/2019. I went though my credit yntion for the financing at 3.5%.
