Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Navigation Voice Prompt Detail Level Adjustment?

So yeah, I mostly use Android Auto for navigation, but honestly the built in Navigation is pretty ok, doesn't need me to have great cell signal, and doesn't overheat the phone.

What kills me is how many prompts she gives to make a turn:
- next go for xxx and turn...
- in 1/2 miles turn...
- in 300 feet turn ..
- now turn...
- you just turned ..
It is insanity I tell you!!

Kia is even aware of this insanity because they built in a "shut her up for 10 seconds" feature, but surely there is a way to "reduce" the detail level of the prompts?
