  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I ordered a 2022 Telluride Wolf Gray NF SX from Kings Kia in Ohio on 2/18. How does the typical ordering process work when the car comes in? If financing through Kia, will dealers typically try and leverage the long wait with higher interest rates? If trading in a car that already was appraised by the dealer, will they come back with a lower offer than what was first given when ordering? Just want to know everyone's experience with the closing process.

Just an FYI, the dealer said expect a 6 month wait with the high possibility of it being a 2023 model.

unless you haven't put a lot of miles on the appraised car and or wrecked it in that time the offer they quote you will stand I would think. Usually they write down then whole offer and you sign it so everyone knows what is to be expected during the closing process. It's not binding but a good faith run down. As far as financing its always a good idea to know what you can get else where and see if KIA can get close to it or better. You can always refinance after the fact. I suspect rates will be going up sooner than later. They can't give you exact numbers due to that fact. FWIW
