• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi! We have a 2022 Telluride. Big oil leak last Jan after a cold snap and had to replace oil housing assembly at 69 K (covered under warranty). Now new leak at 103 K (after another cold snap) apparently leak is at rear main seal and it needs replacing- No warranty & a $3100 job. Feeling very upset with this vehicle- it doesn’t seem to hold up to the cold. We also had our air conditioning seals replaced this summer bc they all failed after winter (after several visits to Kia bc they couldn’t find the issues).

They claim they see rear main seal fixes often, yet that is not at all what I hear from other mechanics. My family has been operating a farm with a ton of tractors & vehicles and have only ever replaced this part 2 times- on old tractors that have sat around. I think Kia has some big issues here with their shitty parts and I’ve tried to ask them to provide me data on these fixes but they refuse. Anyone have luck working up the chain? Kia Canada states they do not work with these issues.
