• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... If your UVO subscription has expired, that is your issue. Disable it in the navigation settings.

Welcome! Moving this into our technology section. :)

What do you mean by gps does not respond? Your location doesn’t update on the navigation screen as you drive around or searching for an address for turn-by-turn direction doesn’t work?

It’s a little complicated, but if it’s the latter, it’s because you don’t have reliable LTE service. Make sure you are in a good Verizon coverage area as indicated by the “LTE” signal strength meter in the infotainment screen.

If former, is may be because the GPS almanac data may be more than 6 days old. Try moving your KT to an open field and stay there with the engine ON until you see your location correctly updated. Once this happens you should be good to go. Without good LTE service this could take more than 30 minutes. With good LTE signal it will take minutes.

Either condition could cause a problem with your GPS.

Lastly, an issue with defaulting to UVO first to do an address search, instead of using the built-in map first when you don’t have UVO service seems to have been fixed with a new update. If your radio app doesn’t look like an old fashioned radio you don’t have the latest update.

I continue to have problems with my GPS, beginning to hate my Telluride. I try to add an address and it takes me to services. I try to enter an address manually and it does not recognize, I tried disabling the UVO through settings and could not. Anyone else have issues

Should have all the answers you need. You may have to update the software to see the disable option, however you will lose some current features with the updated software.

How do I update the software?

Also when I enter an address manually it has places, how to I change to add only address, I tried settings, navigation and cant seem to locate

I tried disabling the UVO through settings and could not.
You went to Settings > Voice Recognition Settings > disabled UVO network search?
How do I update the software?

Download the install software on a computer, download the update files, copy and past into a thumb drive (32GB or larger), plug thumb drive into data USB in Telluride and choose quick update on the UVO display.

Before performing the update, be sure to read through this thread to see feedback from other owners.

14.10 update (November 2020) now available

Main complaints are purple theme, loss of home screen widgets and bad radio user interface.

for me, i have updated, but never enabled UVO so i didn't have an option to disable anything. the issue for me was that the UI was confusing since it does some level of auto-complete for some locations as you type, making you believe that as you type in the address it's just simply not found. However, if you press return/done or whatever the button says, it does find the location and you can continue on your merry way. I'm not sure if that's what you're seeing, but it did confuse me at first as it's not the best user experience path 😀
