• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The closer we get to 2021, the more I'm probably going to wait on the various auto shows to see the 2022 Telluride and assess the minor upgrades and improvements. Then possibly order it in January or February.

I would be shocked if any 2022 Telluride info is released before the second half of 2021, and even more surprised if there are any meaningful changes. This will still only be the model’s third year.

I agree. I can see some additional packages maybe but I think they fixed the things on the 21s that they whiffed on for 2020. Maybe the S and EX get a technology package or something, that would be cool.

Of course they'll add a blue as a new color since I'll have already purchased my Telluride. I waited until Feb to order hoping that I'd know whether or not blue were available for 21 before I got my car. Now I'm getting a 21 so it'll come out for 22.

I'd also guess that by the 22 MY, they'll want to try to work towards a Sept/Oct model year release and get in line with the rest of the lineup. I think it's a gradual process to get there from the Feb 19 release of the 2020

What auto shows?

There are two reasons automakers make changes between model years: 1) to keep interest up or 2) to fix issues that are hurting sales or are regular complaints from customers (like the remote start button and wiring harness). Neither of these issues apply to the Telluride. As long as they are in a situation where they can't keep up with demand - I suspect there will be only minor changes - maybe a new color or the digital dash - for 2022. Now - that said - Hyundai/KIA/Genesis are known for short production cycles - so they might surprise us.

The 2022MY should be on the regular schedule - meaning sometime in the fall of 2021.

The only time Kia does launches of a new MY earlier in the year is if it's an all new model or refresh, and follows the pattern of 4-6 months delay from the KDM launch.

with how well the telluride is selling now I cant see Kia full on changing much from 2020/21 to 2022. Maybe just minor changes like adding new colors and maybe body matching color trims. They are selling so fast how is the factory suppose to keep up with everything and keeping up with the demand but who really knows.

Any news on digital gauge cluster and a calligraphy similar trim level? The kia logo should change also to the new one.

I'm with you, waiting to see if in 2022 they will have a digital cockpit and body matching trim. The 2022 sonata has the digital cockpit so here's hoping.

I mean even the Sorento has the digital cockpit. The new Kia logo also looks pretty sharp and upscale. Cannot wait

And now the new sportage is supposed to have a crazy digital cockpit

Here's a data point. No more, no less. A salesman told me yesterday that the 2022 would have no changes from 2021. It makes sense to me because why would they change a winning formula with dealers taking massive profit and orders backed up half a year or more.

But I do want that Palisade digital cluster to also be on the Telluride.

2022s are already in production, it appears… although there is not any public-facing information available yet, some information is being made available (see here, for example).

So anyone saying no changes, period, is incorrect.

Also, there will not be a digital instrument cluster for MY 2022, at least not before a mid-cycle refresh (which will probably be in MY 2023). The digital cluster isn’t really as awesome as it seems since it isn’t very customizable, anyway. You’re not really missing out on much with the SX Telluride cluster (I know, I have one of each).
