• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I can confirm that Android Auto (AA) only fills 2/3rds of the Telluride's widescreen and that the last 1/3 shows the AA logo. It does NOT allow any other functions from UVO. Note, Apple Carplay fills the screen fully.

Yeah, I wish Android would fix this to support wide screens OR have the systems be able to show more than a logo. I'd love to see the radio in 1/3 and AA in the other 2/3rds.

As I mentioned on your test drive review, you should be able to fix that issue using AA's developer mode to change the screen resolution.

Yes, and these types of things will be improved over time with software updates - either over the air or at the dealership when the Telluride is taken in for service...

Sorry Steve,

I just tried a hook up with developer mode 720 and 1080 enabled. Same 2/3 screen Android Auto, 1/3 screen a useless waste.

Also, when in Android Auto, Bluetooth cannot be used for calls or messages. Only media is available for Bluetooth connection.

Android Auto also disables "Highway Driving Assist". I assume Navigation Data is also not available to show speed limits on the dash.

Wow, it sounds like android auto is kind of messy. Does all the same issues happen with Apple Carplay as well? Disabling highway driving assist it’s a big bummer. You shouldn’t need to choose between connectivity and safety.

IMO, safety is paying attention and not depending on electronics to do what you are supposed to be doing. All these aids (LKA SCC) jut make us lazier and can lull you into a false sense of security.
