• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... KIA Telluride Owner Roll Call!

Can't you dip the sidesteps to get rid of the chrome? Make sure you get your oil changes and service at that dealer that wanted to charge the extra 10K. I take mine to the dealer who said Kia "special orders weren't allowed." It chaps his ass EVERY TIME!! Yet the salesman ask me to let potential customers see it before I drive off!! And leaves the customers asking me why my license plate cover reads "Kia of Muncie" when we are in Eastern North Carolina!! I'd get my oil changed every week just to stick it to my local dealer for being lazy!!
I thought about dipping or powder coating. Not sure I will actually “use” the steps though. Problem with removing them is I need the plastic rocker panels to fill the void. Hope to obtain in trade as part of a sale.

I’ll admit I thought about going to the dealer with the insane markup just to say hi. They tried to warn me of bait-and-switch at other dealers etc. if I tried to purchase out if state.

So excited!!! We finally (after my exhaustive research) placed our order this evening for our 2021 SX AWD, Everlasting Silver with N/P/T packages. We decided to order through NowCar, because the price couldn’t be beat anywhere here in FL—a little over $1k under msrp, no crazy FL dealer fees and free delivery! Can you tell how unbelievably excited I am!! 😁 Thank you all for all of the amazing info.

Thank you! It’s definitely a beautiful color. We wanted something low maintenance in the Florida heat but I’ve been tired of seeing so many white SUV’s here (not just Telly’s). Looks like you got the Dune Brown—I was torn but decided between human baby & fur babies, the black would be better to withstand our three. 😂

I really like the look of the black leather too but we had black in every car and wifey wanted something different. Now I'm just upset that I can't wash the car yet since it's been raining the last week. The ES looks amazing when clean and shiny 🔥🔥🔥

Did they say how long for delivery?

They quoted 10-12 weeks after our order is picked up by Kia (aka entered into the KFOS). We’re currently 19th on waiting list for the trim level we chose.

Hmmm.. this timeframe could get you close to production of the 2022 model year. I’m wondering the same for the car I ordered about 2 months ago.

Yep, wondering the exact same thing. I wish Kia would’ve kept the old badges for the future models—I’m not a fan of the new logo—but definitely won’t mind getting the newest model year. I’m also secretly hoping that others ahead of us will decide to buy elsewhere so we’ll be bumped up in the allocation line. 😁

Not sure where I stand with the new logo. I think it makes sense from a Kia marketing standpoint, but I’ll have to see how it actually looks on the vehicle to make a judgement call!

Picked up my wife’s GWP SXP from i25 Kia (Highly recommended dealer who sells at MSRP) in Longmont, CO. I flew in Monday morning with Delta (the airline I fly for) and drove it back to SoCal for a little over 1,000 miles. Went via I-70 for a large portion of the drive through Utah and Nevada. Got to see some snow and another Telluride on the highway in Vegas. I waved to the lady driver and pointed to her car (thumbs up and all) and she was confused as hell thinking she was getting pulled over. Oh well, the car is getting washed after the longish road trip.

My wife is happy and so am I.

i did not. i started this journey 4 weeks ago calling dealers up and down CA and even into CO, NV and NM. everyone had a markup. Some CA dealers had markups of 10k plus on the SX P/N. I found this car last week and was able to talk the dealer down to a 4k markup. The car was expected to come in on 5-7 but arrived 10 days early.

I did find a couple of dealers that would order one for me at MSRP but the wait time was 4-6 months an i didn't want to wait.

You must have not tried I-25 Kia over in Longmont, CO since that's where I purchased mine. They are selling at MSRP. As is Peak Kia in CO as well but yes any builds require a wait time of a few months.

I see in your sig that you got yours in about 5 weeks. That is impressive. I would of waited 5 weeks to get one at MSRP.
