Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New owner checking in. Dawning red Telly SXP- X-Line with terracotta interior. Side steps (blk), hitch, cross bars, hood deflector, and I blacked out lettering, and put flag decals on KIA emblems. LOVE IT! Pewaukee, WI.Take in for a trip. You will really see just how great a vehicle you just purchased.
How many miles do you have on it? Sounds like you are a second owner like me. If so, don't forget your warranty is different than purchasing new. Your warranty is 60k miles/5 years. Have the transmission checked now before you miss the opportunity to do so. If you can get an extended warranty it would be well worth it. I am stuck with a 4 year old vehicle with a bad transmission. I loved my SUV as well until this happened. Best wishes... please have it checked over well. I am hearing the transmissions are an issue. Hopefully this will save you some heart ache and money.
