KIA Telluride South Florida--recommendations?

Placed reservation today with Kia of Muncie after reading a few threads. Saw a lot of people recommending Lucas Boehm (pronounced Beam). Excellent sales person and highly recommend. Super nice, very knowledgeable... walked me through the ordering process, went over realistic delivery timelines and then discussed all factors beyond their control that could impact the vehicles MSRP price before we take delivery. Ordered SXP-NF in Gravity Grey/black interior with towing for $1200 below MSRP. Another plus is their admin fee is very low at only $199 (Most dealers I had spoken with were charging $600+)

Live in the Charlotte, NC area and was quoted ~$950 for delivery. I personally don't mind long road trips so will be flying up on a one way ticket and doing the 10hr drive home. Will give me plenty of time to learn the ins and outs of the vehicle.

Yeah it doesn’t look like Jason Fox works there anymore, do they still have the extended warranty for $1498?

Nice! When did they expect delivery?

Lucas likes to quote conservatively so you don't get disappointed. He said to expect anywhere from 6 - 8 months but will know better once the order is picked up in their system for production. The old under promise and over deliver mindset. Since all promotions/financing are based on when we take delivery I don't mind if it falls around July/ August. Maybe Kia of America will be running some better financing to clear out 2021's although I doubt the Telluride will apply.

Actually we never discussed an extended warranty although maybe that will come up as we get closer to taking delivery. I am not a believer in them so did not ask. Lucas didn't try to push anything on me as I was specific on what I wanted from the beginning.

Do you live by Munchie or did you travel to pick up your Kia? Also who did you deal with?

I live down in South Florida. They shipped the car down to me. I dealt with Lucas Boehm. He was fantastic and really patient with all my questions! Having never bought a car online I had plenty of them... lol.

Just wanted to post an update. I placed the order with NowCar around the end of November and Kia picked up the order around 1/25. It arrived at the dealership on Monday and we picked it up yesterday. They do ship, but I just didn't want to wait any longer. Nathaly from NowCar was fantastic and made the whole process very smooth. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I don't know of a better deal for FL residents than Nowcar.com. I placed an order in mid Aug and my Telly was delivered to me in early Nov. MSRP with only $85 total fee to transfer FL plates. Nathaly is superb! Great follow up.
