• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hmmm, wonder where all those unassembled parts are coming from for the India market?

A CKD assembly line has been set up at Kia's India Anantapur factory.

● Completely Knocked Down Units refers to high-end cars whose parts are officially imported from foreign countries and are assembled in the selling country.

● Importing CBU (Completely Built Units) products attracts a hefty custom duty of 120% whereas CKD assembly operation costs almost half of that. The projected sales volume for the aforementioned premium models doesn’t justify the investment required for local manufacturing.

After Seltos launch in India they are looking to go after the 3 row segment. There is big market for such luxury 3 row cars in India.
