Hello. New to this forum but I have read a lot of the posts. I have found 2 smaller dealerships that will order SX AWD prestige/nightfall for me and sell at MSRP but are telling me it could be 4-6 months for my order. One of them even said "if they (Kia) even picks up the order at all." That did not sound very promising or hopeful.
Another larger volume dealership told me 1-2 months but 3K above MSRP. Spoke to the person who orders all the Tellurides and questioned her at length explaining what others had told me about their timelines. She said she felt confident 1-2 months once order was placed based on the orders she has placed the last few months. She went into detail about the "ordering window" of a few days per month, which no one had ever mentioned to me. She said once order is placed she will know within 3-4 weeks if it has been picked up. If not, she reorders the next month and then it will get picked up during the next cycle. Sounds to good to be true....Can this be true because it is a larger dealership?
Not sure who/what to believe.
