Last week for '23 orders?

We placed an order in January 2023 from Vanguard Kia in Arlington, TX. I have called them every month since and get no update whatsoever. Very disappointing. Beginning to think we should go back to our original choice of a Lexus.

If you're in DFW, try Huffines McKinney. Spoke with them in Jan., order was submitted Feb. 8 and picked up my car May 12. MSRP.

Second this - they are at MSRP with no mandatory add ons.

Can also try Moritz Kia (Hurst, Alliance, FW) and Kia of Frisco although both have mandatory accessory add ons ($2k) but are relatively high volume and they have contacted me for vehicles that other customers have backed out on.

Thank you! I did contact Huffhines, and they are taking orders for the '24 models. It would be another 3-4 months, so they will give me a call if someone backs out. I did find the exact car I wanted at Central Kia of Plano and it sold immediately. So I am basically trolling the inventory list at this point.

Well if it makes you feel better Central Kia of Plano also had the exact car I ordered from Colorado and wanted $65k for it on a MSRP of $54k :)

I have had success using Kias builder on the website and just adjusting zip codes within 250 - 500 miles. Good luck!

Does anyone know when the 2024 ordering window will actually open?
Just missed the cutoff for 2023 orders last week, and am in limbo waiting for 2024 trying to limp our current vehicle to the finish line :)

Based on last year's experience, I'm guessing it will still be several months (probably 3-4?) before they open the window. Frustrating to no end ......

Oof, thanks for the on-site, don’t know that I’ll be able to hang in that long. Will scour the market a little harder.

Similar experience with Plano, too. I got "lucky" when I called about 2 months ago, and they had the exact car I wanted incoming but with a $5K markup. Funny, they actually called me today after ignoring me these past few weeks after I said I wouldn't pay that, but I'd be more than happy to place an order.

I actually put in an order with Alliance back in August '22, and I have no update from them to this day, so I don't rec them because you'll be waiting. And I personally had a bad experience with Moritz. They took my order last Aug, too, and when I called to check in after 6 months, they never placed the order.

I did get lucky with Grandbury. I'd called them about 3 weeks ago, and they had an incoming of exactly what I wanted, so I put a deposit down ($1K, refundable, MSRP), and within that hour, Huffines reached out and said my car would be in that week. Weird experience technically having two cars. I was able to help someone else out by letting that order go and giving them a heads up. Grandbury is probably a call and see what they have kind of dealer. I've heard people on here say they are low volume and orders take awhile. But, I do think they are really nice so maybe worth a shot.

Corinth has a $2.5k dealer package, but I pass by them nearly every day. Today, they had about 10 Tellurides on the lot - this is after months of seeing them hit the lot and gone within a few hours (I think production is catching up). Maybe worth to call and negotiate, if they allow that.

I got emailed yesterday by Arapahoe Kia, to let me know that I missed the cutoff to order a 23. Seth gave me 3 options, Roll my current order to a 24, (unsure when that would be), cancel altogether and get my 1k back, or see if I wanted one that was scheduled to arrive. Luckily we found one due in July that we liked.

Does anyone have updates from the dealership on when 24 orders will be processed?

I called Van Griffin in Granbury yesterday and they had one Midnight Lake Blue Telluride SX Prestige X-Line on the lot. Fifteen minutes after we arrived and started the paperwork, someone else got there to buy it as well. So, we are thrilled to finally have our Telluride, purchased at MSRP!

Are they just selling at MSRP or did you have to negotiate?

I received a text today from my dealer saying there still had no timeframe for 2024, but hoping for June

Congrats!!! That is amazing! I'm so happy that worked out. I hope you enjoy the new ride. I've had mine about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it.

While I didn't end up going through with my purchase with them, they're selling at MSRP. I was quoted over text via the salesman an OOTD price, so even if they did try anything, I had confirmation.

Thanks! I'll add them to my list of invetories to track haha.

Had a terrible experience with them as well 😬 ended up getting out of the awful vanguard and am waiting for my vehicle to arrive from Stephen in Carrollton. Much better experience after a nightmare at vanguard

Is Classic Kia Carrollton still charging $3.5 - $5k market adjustments?
