Latest information on Ordering System(Kdealer/KFOS) starting Sept 2020

Closed this week on Monday. ETA’s for those accepted were given yesterday and today.

So if my dealer told me yesterday my vehicle is Factory Allocated and has an ETA of 2/8 (maybe sooner, maybe later because transportation issues) without a VIN, does that sound feasible or am I being given the run around?

That was a weekly allocation, Instead of KFOS window. Sometimes orders get filled in weekly allocations but very rare to have Tellurides filled. For whatever reason Kia filled a ton of orders on the last weekly allocation.

KFOS opened today and end Monday. Those that get filled should get initial ETA’s next Tuesday/Wednesday

Yes you are correct in thinking they are “extras”. If they match an order though they get assigned to people in the queue for KFOS.

Yes completely normal. You will get a VIN/Window Sticker after Telluride goes into production after “Paint In” date. Likely will be about a month before initial ETA date

My order got picked up today and the MSRP has gone up by $300 or so - mine was SX with prestige and nightfall

Hey Stephen, I asked my dealer for this but they said they aren't giving that info out due to shipping delays. He said my eta says April 8th, and said that will probably not happen, that is why he originally told me May.
So with the potential increase in production lately do you think a Telluride picked up this week could be delivered by the April 8th eta or do you see it taking longer as well. Dealer is in PA. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

It is possible but any time I see a dealer going via rail(train) and the truck Then I would plan for a buffer in delivery date.. So sales consultant is doing the right thing in creating realistic expectation and if it comes in early or on time than even better.

Once the Telluride is accepted in KFOS and an Initial ETA is given, then Build schedule is available. Just like the ETA these dates may change. But is additional info on when car should be built, shipped out, arrive at store.
