Thanks for the heads up. Will hope the order I found on failcat is ours and the dealer reaches out once systems are up. Its been a 7 month wait and our latest ETA was 3/29.

So when we open we see how many we have allocated therefore we can tell who is going to be accepted. KFOS will be open for a few days so we can put in orders or have orders transfer from Kdealer to KFOS.

sometimes there are bonus units(Supplement) that the dealer may or may not get.

Once KFOS closes we start to get ETA’s on the orders as they “fill” and get accepted by Kia.
Usually within 24-72 hours once KFOS closes.
KFOS closed yesterday so we started getting ETA’s today.

The bonus units(supplement) we figure out if we get after the normal KFOS allocation is filled.

My dealer said my KFOS “order identifier” is VA005201130J001 (we custom ordered on Nov 30). Is that how a KFOS order identifier typically looks - 15 characters?

From my understanding all dealers are affect by the ransomware attack. I believe my order showed up on failcat yesterday but my dealer can't confirm anything because systems are down.

Yes, and they should provide a printout of the details. J001 means that you were the first one picked up in that batch. VA0052 should be Koons Kia. 201130 means November 30, 2020.

Yes VA005 Is state and dealer code you ordered from. 201130 breaks down that order was placed on 11/30/2020. J001 indicated a Telluride is ordered and 001 indicates you are first order of that date

Yes as of right now I hear they are cancelling this months allocation.. this could change or just be delayed depending on how quickly we catch up with our systems coming back on.

As someone who ordered in October and is currently #1 on his dealer’s waitlist, I desperately hope they get it fixed in time for an allocation this month!

Nowcar.com just told me they were skipping Feb and I'll maintain my place in the queue for March orders.

They got back to me saying the order "has been filled we are waiting to get the delivery date for it" on February 26. Still trying to understand this whole KFOS thing - but does that mean KFOS did open in February and my order was accepted? At what point should I expect an ETA?

KFOS was not open in February. They may have your order in kdealer and waiting to get filled. When your order gets filled in KFOS an ETA is generated at the same time.
