If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone gotten a quote to lease a new Telluride EX FWD. Worked the lease price out on the www.Kia.com website and the figure quoted was $380.00 per month with $3000.00 down and 10,000 miles per year, and this was full retail price less a $1200.00 rebate. Went to local dealership here is Florida and they quoted me $550 Per month with $3000.00 down. I don't I think they are too interested in leasing these vehicle right now. Another six months down the road, these lease price will fall into line with the online KIA lease quotes.

I ran into the same situation. I thought since the lease payment calculator ask for the zip code it was adding all applicable dealer and other fees associated with the deal. Things I was not prepared for was $650.00 acquisition fee, $699.00 other fees the dealer charges including document fee, money for a new tag or to transfer your old tag. In my state, the sales tax is paid each month in addition to the lease payment. However, there was still $220.00 in additional taxes that are included in the deal for various things.

What I did, while at the dealership, is subtracted all the costs discussed above from my downpayment and I found the payment on the Kia lease calculator was within a dollar of the payment the dealer offered me not including the monthly sales tax.

I know this does not take the sting out of your experience however I hope it explains why the difference in payment from Kia website to Kia Dealership.

Although, I was angry initially, once I could see where the money was going I could process the business transaction and I leased the vehicle anyway. I am glad I did, my family and I are all very happy with the purchase.

In general, for a lease all you really need to know are these numbers in order to do the math: the final negotiated sale price, fees, taxes, MF, and residual. All the other hot air they try to throw at you because "it's a hot car" is BS.

Regardless of all this, $550 a month with $3,000 down is a SX Prestige AWD price with 15,000 per year all in, not an EX.

Thank you for your response .Can I ask what your final payment was and what you put down. This will let me see if my dealer is giving me a deal or not. Also, was this for an in stock vehicle or did the dealer have to order. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on the Telluride after you have had it for a few weeks
Pete

I got an EX AWD - (nearly 41k msrp)for $499 a month after tax- $700 down and I had them do 15k miles. Tax and fees is about $65 of that. So I would imagine you should be able to get a Awd model around $400 a month pretax , 12k miles , $700 down.

I don't know what the money factor was.

I bought the vehicle on March 7th, off the lot at our local Kia dealership, traded in a 2017 Kia Sorento SX without AWD. It has been great as daily driver and a 600 mile round trip road trip was easy without any fatigue because of all the driver assist aids and maintaining the maximum speed limits.

I liked the Sorento and love the Telluride. It is quieter, more comfortable, handles more car like, and has more cargo space.

Oops I mean you should be able to get the fwd model around $400 a month or maybe a little less since it’s $2k cheaper than my Awd model. I’ve had my telluride for 3 weeks now and it’s been great ! Love the self driving tech on it , espically works well on the highway ! I almost don’t need to interact with it on the freeways. Also the safety stuff has saved me from ramming into someone in the city once. Very smooth ride and I’ve already had many people ask me what kind of suv it is.

Excellent. Thanks for the feedback. I am looking forward to getting mine Enjoy!

when you lease and decide to buy at the end do you keep 10/100 warranty?

I’m really just considering lease because we still don’t know if any major issues will come up with telluride and thinking I can get better deal when done like this?

Can I custom order lease car if one is not available when I’m shopping?

Nothing changes between lease or purchase when it comes to warranty and yes you can order for lease or purchase.

Be cautious of lease buy out charges compared to purchasing.
