If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Going on 5 months for SXP, May pull the trigger on Durango GT. Sway me back the other way with why I should stay with Telluride.

Just hold out! I thought about doing it too, but I'm just too damn excited about the Telluride. It's won so many awards and it' punches above its weight class. The Durango is nice inside and out, and handles well, but I really think the Telluride is something special. Wait it out a bit longer.

Isn't the Durango GT priced a lot lower with cloth seats? Different animal. It gets favorable reviews and has an RWD platform - so it will drive differently. I don't think you can go wrong. The SX-P is very similar to a luxury vehicle with the ventilated seats and leather and HUD - fully loaded. Modern tech too. Durango's base instrument panel leaves a lot to be desired. But, getting an SXP requires a long wait... unless you're in a rush, why not wait it out and compare when SXP arrives? Durango isn't going to get more expensive... the Telluride could.

Depends on your priorities. They are very different animals. Personally - I prefer the interior of the Telluride much more than any other SUV in the market for under $60K. If you need to use the 3rd row for teens or adults - the Telluride is the best bet out there. The Durango is heavy and uses a very dated platform. I suspect it would have much lower resale value than the Telluride as well.

Go get a Durango SRT and forget about the Telluride! That's the only Dodge Durango version I would get instead of a Telly....

I just posted on another forum that KIA Autosport in Columbus, GA will have a SWP AWD SX P soon. I backed out of the deal and had my deposit refunded since I found one in KY this past weekend.
